Shimmering Drop Earrings to Think About Adding to Your Collection
I've always been a huge lover of gold drop earrings since they came out. They're somewhat unconventional compared to other jewelry, but that's what I love about them. I also really like the fact that they're versatile.
When looking at the fashion world during this season, there's a lot going on. Drop earrings are definitely a big part of that, and I want to review some of the hotter sets of these earrings that you might come across.
Celebrities are wearing these all over the place, and all forms are thriving. Crystal drop earrings, pearl ones, silver earrings, and more are available from a number of different designers.
Let's take a look at some pairs that may be of interest to you. Hopefully at least one of these appeals to you!
I'm a big fan of the Just Cavalli line of jewelry, and their earrings look great. One pair that stands out to me is their Boule Amethyst Cubic Zirconia drop earrings, which sell for $250 but look truly beautiful. The purple looks great with the brass chain, and the charm in one earring is adorable.
Another pair, and possibly one of the nicest ones I've ever seen, is offered by Tiffany. Keep in mind that few people will ever be able to afford these, myself included. They're beautiful nonetheless. This is a pair of earrings selling for $40,000 and they're Tiffany's teardrop earrings.
Now we obviously can't afford these, but the takeaway here is the high likelihood that many designers will emulate the teardrop look and feel, offering up much more affordable sets on their own. Look for the teardrop style to gain momentum in 2010.
Lastly, the removable onyx drop earrings by David Yurman look great and come at a much more reasonably priced $70 or so per pair. Check these out if you like his products, as these should be no exception to the rule.
