A Standard Wedding Reception Progam Outlined

Many people consider their wedding to be the most important day of their lives; it is only natural, then, that they will spend plenty of time and money planning the event.  This includes everything, right down to the arrangements for the wedding reception.

If you are getting prepared for planning a reception, here's a look at how a standard one usually goes.

The typical reception begins soon after the wedding ceremony, maybe 15 minutes after the couple exits the auditorium.  Upon arrival, guests are greeted and directed to their seats.Your seating plan will be followed. If the reception seating is not assigned, then guests are welcome to find their own places and sit by whomever they would like.

Soon after, ensure that the parents and sponsors are present at the head table.

Ask that entourage members, except parents and primary sponsors gather around the receiving area once most people are sitting down.  Everyone must gather at the exact same moment.First, the flower girls are invited, followed by the ring bearers.  Then it is the secondary sponsors, followed by the groomsmen who, themselves,  accompany the bridesmaids.  They are followed by the best man accompanying the maid of honor.

Next, the newlyweds make their celebratory entrance, accompanied by party favors like confetti or bubbles.

Once the couple is in, properly acknowledge the parents and the primary sponsors, allowing them to stand and wave. Then suggest that the bride and groom begin the cake cutting ceremony.  Followed by the champagne toast will be a release of doves.The maid of honor traditionally performs  an thanksgiving prayer at this time. Then there is the meal, and the guests are invited to take pictures with the newlyweds.  The next thing usually done is moving over to the table with all of the food and making sure everything is run smoothly here. Next, the best man offers up a celebratory toast, followed by congratulatory speeches for the couple.  Only a few of these should be allowed, otherwise it will become too busy.The Bride's Father then dances with her, and then the Bride has her first dance with her new husband.   Other dancing may follow.

One of every single woman's favorite feature of a wedding is next, the bouquet tossing ceremony, which is usually followed by the groom teasingly removing the brides garter and then tossing it into the crowd of single men. Dont ignor beach wedding favors or western wedding favors!
